Australia Post statement
There has been no reduction in Australia Post's performance levels. This year to date we are delivering 98.6 per cent of all letters on time or early, above our required Community Service Obligation of 94 per cent.
Our service performance is independently audited every quarter.
We are proud of our track record of meeting or exceeding the target of all letters delivered on time. We have met met this target for the past 15 years.
While we recognise there may be isolated incidents of delayed mail, this is rare, and we continue to look for ways to improve our service.
