A house for free?
Well with the high prices of houses these days it's an offer too good to refuse...
Grant Threadgold owns the three bedroom home in Adelaide's southern suburbs which he wants to gift to a deserving family.
It comes with polished floor boards, built-in robes, ducted air conditioning even a security system.
Grant planned to demolish the place to make way for a new one but thought it was just too good to waste.
'It's in pretty good condition considering it's about 50 or 60 years old. All it needs is a lick of paint on the outside," says Grant.
Now there is a slight catch. All you need to do is come and collect it then arrange for it to be transported to its new location.
"It would make a great holiday home or even a permanent residence for a family finding it hard to get by," Grant said.
For a job like this one, house transporters can charge between $15 and $20 thousand dollars.
But you'd still be miles in front because to build or buy one would set you back at least $120 thousand dollars.
