Solar energy has become hugely popular, so much so now 1 in 3 South Aussie homeowners have it.

But there's a huge gap when it comes to rental properties – in fact, only about 1 in 25 rentals have solar power – but a new scheme could change that and both tenants and landlords would benefit.
