APOLOGY TO LEON MARTIN

In April, Today Tonight Adelaide broadcast a story relating to sand dunes that were threatening the beachfront homes in Wallaroo, the permission granted by the Copper Coast Council for the removal of those dunes and the environmental impact of that removal.

Based on information provided to Today Tonight, we reported that Leon Martin carried out that dune-clearance work.

Mr Martin has contacted Seven Network and advised that, while he has carried out some sand-clearance works in the area, he was not the person responsible for the removal of the sand dunes and that earthmoving contractors were engaged to carry out those works.

Today Tonight would like to take this opportunity to correct the record and apologise to Mr Martin for any confusion or concern caused by our report.
